It’s the 1st of September, and with that autumn has officially arrived. I love autumn. Actually, I love every season. Each one has its own unique touch. In my mind, every season has a specific vibe: clothes that remind me of it, scents I connect to it, music I can’t stop listening to, and shows I need to rewatch during that time.
So, here’s my autumn dump. Enjoy reading 🍂☕

clothes

For me, autumn is the season for flared and bootcut jeans. I’ve been dreaming about finding the perfect pair with bedazzled back pockets. I can literally picture them in my mind, but no clue where to actually buy them lol.

Then, of course, we have longsleeve henley and babydoll tops. Especially in autumn shades like burgundy, chocolate brown, forest green, and cream.

Next on my list are buttoned-to-the-top trench coats or basically any coat with big statement buttons. They look so timeless and classy. And imagine walking through the city with one of those coats and a coffee in hand (I don’t even drink coffee, but for the vibe 😜).

Also I’m still obsessed with chunky knit sweaters. Last year, the Rory Gilmore sweater was everywhere on my Pinterest but I’m still not over it.

For shoes, I’m definitely leaning towards brown boots with lacy socks peeking out, Ugg Lowmels, loafers, and of course, classic Converse.

As for accessories that scream autumn to me: chunky scarves, leg warmers, dainty lacy socks, gold jewelry, and, if styled right, a touch of fur.

shows and movies

Of course i first have to say the vampire diaries. No explaination needed. Then classic, Gilmore Girls. I started watching it last year, never watched the whole thing though.
Then I think Stranger Things is also kind of autumn coded. (Didnt watch it)

I think autumn is the best time to rewatch Harry Potter, especially the first three movies.
Then any spooky or horror movie goes well. You dont have to wait for halloween. Time passes by faster than you think.

autumn activities / my autumn bucketlist

• have a cup of tea / hot chocolate / coffee and read
• go to a café
• go on walks
• roll in a blanket and watch a show or a movie
• bake cinamonrolls, apple pie or banana bread
• decorate your room with fairy lights and candles
• visit a pumpkin patch
• press leaves in a journal
• write poems
• carve a pumpkin

snacks

For me autumn is the snack season (after winter of course😜). I’m talking:

• cinnamonrolls (how often did I talk about them already lol)
• caramel popcorn
• chocolate chip cookies
• chocolate covered pretzels
• crêpes with cinnamon sugar
• apple slices with nut butter trust me

Autumn is short, but it’s full of magic. Make this autumn the best you’ve ever had!
